Before Rocky Tallow Naturals had a name, a label, or a website, it was simply something I made for my own family.

I wasn’t trying to start a skincare brand.

I was trying to stop second-guessing what I was putting on our skin.

I had started paying closer attention to ingredient labels, and I kept running into the same thing: products marketed as “clean” or “natural” with long ingredient lists I still had to research.

I didn’t want another product I had to convince myself was good enough.

I wanted skincare I could pick up, use every day, and feel completely confident about.

Something simple. Something effective. Something I would trust on my own skin and my child’s.

That search changed everything.

WHY TALLOW

I discovered tallow because I was looking backward, not forward.

Before skincare became complicated, people relied on simple, nutrient-rich fats and oils to care for their skin. Tallow stood out to me because of how naturally well it works as a moisturizer and how beautifully it pairs with thoughtfully chosen oils and botanicals.

So I started making my own.

And I kept reaching for it.

My skin felt deeply nourished without needing a shelf full of products. I knew exactly what was in the jar. There was no wondering, no deciphering, no unnecessary extra.

Then my husband started using it.

Friends and family asked for it.

And somewhere along the way, something I had made for our home became something I wanted other families to have too.

That became Rocky Tallow Naturals.

THE SOURCE MATTERS

I believe the quality of a product begins long before it reaches the jar.

That’s why our tallow comes from a fifth-generation Colorado ranching family whose roots stretch back more than a century.

Knowing where our tallow comes from matters to me.

Knowing the people behind it matters to me.

And knowing their family has spent generations caring for the land gives me a level of confidence I wouldn’t trade for convenience.

From there, every Rocky Tallow Naturals product is made in small batches using carefully selected ingredients chosen for a reason.

Nothing is added simply to make an ingredient list longer.

Nothing is included because it happens to be trending.

And I will never ask you to put something on your skin that I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing into my own home.

MADE WITH A DIFFERENT STANDARD

There is one question behind every product I create:

Would I use this on my own family?

If I hesitate, it doesn’t make it into the jar.

That standard affects everything — the ingredients I choose, where I source them, how formulas are made, and what I decide not to include.

Because I don’t believe good skincare should require blind trust.

You should be able to understand what you’re buying.

You should know where the heart behind it comes from.

And you should feel good every time you reach for it.
